This recipe is from Green Hills Garden Club Cooks...Favorite Recipes from Vicksburg, MS (Betty Kamman). Excellent dip! Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers, unpeeled |
1/2 cup vinegar |
2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 (8 ounce) cream cheese |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
Directions:
1. Wash and grate unpeeled cucumbers. 2. Use a grater with 1/2-inch holes. 3. Add vinegar and salt; cover and allow to sit overnight in refrigerator. 4. Next day, press out liquid. 5. Blend garlic salt, cheese, and mayonnaise. 6. Combine with cucumbers. 7. Serve with fresh veggies. |
