My son came home from work with this recipe, raving about how good these appetizers taste. A coworker had prepared them and everyone was crazy about them! I haven't tried them yet, but wanted to submit the recipe here for safekeeping. Ingredients:
1 (7 1/2 ounce) can biscuits |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 large cucumber, sliced to your liking |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon dill weed |
olive oil |
Directions:
1. Thoroughly mix softened cream cheese with 1/2 teaspoon dill weed and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Set aside. 2. Roll each biscuit between sheets of wax paper to flatten. 3. Poke holes with fork on both sides. 4. Sprinkle with garlic powder and dill weed, to taste. 5. Brush both sides of biscuit with olive oil. 6. Grill on stovetop grill. 7. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of grilled biscuits. 8. Place cucumber slices on top of cream cheese layer, sprinkle with additional dill, and cover until ready to serve. 9. You can make the day before your party, tastes even better. |
