not sure where this recipe came from ..but we like it at our house.. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups cake flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup crisco |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
24 marshmallows, halves |
2 tablespoons powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons water |
2 tablespoons cocoa |
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa - cream crisco with sugar till fluffy - 2. Beat in egg, add flour, alternating with milk beating till smooth - 3. Add vanilla and nuts, drop by tsps on greased cookie sheets. 4. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. 5. Remove and top each with glaze. 6. GLAZE:. 7. Combine all ingredients. 8. Melt butter and add cocoa and enough powdered sugar to make a glaze. |
