Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready In: 30 Minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 whole(s) apples peeled and corked
3/4 cup(s) water
1/4 brown sugar unpacked
Directions:
1. ) Cut up apples into small cubes. The smaller the cube the quicker the cook time and the easier it will be to mash them when they are soft.2) In a saucepan with a lid over medium heat combine the apples, brown sugar and water. 3) Stir til the mixture blends nicely together. 4) Let boil, stirring periodically for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the apples are soft enough to mash. 5.) Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes. 6) Now for the mashing. Some find it easier to use a potato masher or a fork, I on the other hand take the apples and the juice and put them in my magic bullet until it forms into what we all know is applesauce. 7.) Put in jar or container and let sit for about 10 minutes. Put in the refrigerator and enjoy once cooled.
