This bread is quite similar to French bread and goes well with cheese and/or wine. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup water |
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1 tablespoon salt |
3 cups bread flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. The order of the ingredients depends on your bread machine. 2. Most machines start with the water and then the yeast is on the top. 3. Water should be room temperature. 4. Use white bread setting. 5. Depending on your particular bread machine model this can take from 2-3 hours for baking. 6. This particular recipe is for a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread so adjust accordingly. 7. After bread is done, if not eating it right away, cool completely before wrapping it up. |
