Crusty Cheese, Beef, Noodle Casserole |

Again, found this in my favorite hospital cookbook. A good, hearty comfort dish. Serve with a nice green salad and it is a good meal. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 chopped onion |
2 lbs ground beef |
4 (10 1/4 ounce) cans meatless sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 lb fine noodles, cooked and drained |
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
seasoning salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oil; add onions and cook until golden. 2. Add meat and cook until meat loses it red color, stirring. 3. Add spaghetti sauce and salt; heat. 4. Arrange in a casserole dish half sauce and half of cheese. 5. Sprinkle with seasoning salt. 6. Make another layer noodles. 7. Add sauce and top with cheese. |
