Wonderful for a luncheon! Ingredients:
3 cups chopped tomatoes |
1 cup chopped cucumber |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
3/4 cup minced fresh basil |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 loaf french bread |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except bread and toss well. 2. Chill for at least 45 minutes. 3. Cut thick slices of bread. 4. Broil bread until light brown. 5. Place bread on plate and top with salad. |
