You can substitute the cooked meat for cooked spinach, or musrhooms. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
1 cup heavy cream |
1/2 cup water |
salt, to taste |
black pepper, to taste |
1 dash cayenne pepper (optional) |
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded |
1 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Whisk eggs, cream, water, salt, black pepper and cayenne in a medium bowl. Add the mozzarella and mix well. Set aside. 3. Butter a 9 inch pie plate, sprinkle the bacon in the bottom of the pan. 4. Pour the egg mixture on top of the bacon. 5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. 6. Let cool for about 5 minutes and then serve. |
