Made these tonight. Added Frosted Flakes Gold to the mix. Sprinkled with Seasoned Salt. Goes great with a cold beer. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix |
8 cups oven-toasted corn chex |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degreesF. Melt butter in 13 x9-inch baking pan on oven (3 to 4 minutes); stirring in seasoning mix. Add cereal; stir to coat evenly. Bake, stirring after half the time, for 10 to 12 minutes or until cereal is crisp.
2. Microwave Directions: Melt butter in 12x8-inch glass baking dish on HIGH (1 to 2 minutes);stir in seasoning mix. Add cereal; stir to coat evenly. Microwave on HIGH, stirring after half the time, until cereal is crisp (4 to 5 minutes).
