I saw this recipe and immediately jumped up and made it, nice way to use garbanzos and really anykind of beans! Only 3 grams fat, 7 grams of protein and 6 grams fibre Ingredients:
1 can garbanzos/chickpeas |
2 tsp olive oil |
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne |
salt/garlic powder/cayenne can be adjusted to your taste |
Directions:
1. 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees 2. 2. Drain beans and rinse well and dry them off as best you can 3. 3. Put them in bowl and add salt,garlic powder,cayenne, olive oil and mix well together 4. 4. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes then check them and if needed bake another 10 minutes making sure to check them so they dont burn 5. 5. Also leaving them in the oven after you have turned it off is ok too |
