I serve this dish when i make simple mains like grilled pork chops or chicken, with a light salad
Ingredients:
1 small onion
1 green pepper
basmati/jasmine/fragrant rice
2 tsp aniseed
coconut oil
butter for frying
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Boil rice until al dente and set aside
2. in a skillet melt butter and saute onions and peppers
3. add aniseed and stir for 3 minutes
4. add cooked rice to skillet and fry
5. add coconut oil and cook for 5 minutes before serving
