I serve this dish when i make simple mains like grilled pork chops or chicken, with a light salad Ingredients:
1 small onion |
1 green pepper |
basmati/jasmine/fragrant rice |
2 tsp aniseed |
coconut oil |
butter for frying |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Boil rice until al dente and set aside 2. in a skillet melt butter and saute onions and peppers 3. add aniseed and stir for 3 minutes 4. add cooked rice to skillet and fry 5. add coconut oil and cook for 5 minutes before serving |
