I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it is really delicious. the prep time does not reflect the 4 hours of chill time. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup chopped pecans |
1 pkg butterscotch pudding and pie filling |
2 cups milk |
whipped topping, thawed |
8-inch baked pie shell |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, brown sugar, and pecans in a saucepan; cook, stirring until butter and sugar are melted. 2. Spread in the bottom of pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes, or until bubbly. Cool. 3. Prepare pudding and pie filling mix as directed on package for pie. 4. Pour into shell. 5. Cover with wax paper and chill for 4 hours. 6. Remove wax paper and top with whipped topping. |
