These are the most incredible muffins, they are lemony, sweet and so moist. A coworker brought these into work yesterday for bosses day and they were inhaled. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 cups self rising flour |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest |
1/2 stick salted butter |
1 cup milk |
1 egg |
1 cup lemon juice |
3/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix flour, sugar and lemon rind together. 2. Melt butter then add milk and egg then whisk together and add dry ingredients. 3. Stir until just combined then place in nonstick muffin tins and bake at 425 for 10 minutes. 4. Remove from oven then mix lemon juice and sugar together and pour over hot muffins. |
