Crunchy Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3/4 cup milk
2 (15 ounce) cans green beans, drained
ground black pepper, to taste
1 (6 ounce) can french's french fried onions, about 1 1/2 cup
Directions:
1. # Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. # Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
3. # In a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish, mix together the bacon, soup, water chestnuts, milk, green beans and pinch of black pepper.
4. # Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
5. # Stir and top with French fried onions. Bake for 5 additional minutes or until onions are golden brown.
