This recipe was given to me by my neighbor. I have a recipe similiar but not quite the same. I haven't tried these yet, but I'm hoping to next week sometime. Let me know what you think of them. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup shortening |
1 cup vegetable oil |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 tablespoon milk |
3 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 cup quick oatmeal |
1 cup rice krispies |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Blend sugars, shortening, oil, egg, vanilla and milk. 2. Add flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar together. 3. Add remaining ingredients. 4. Make into balls and flatten with fork. 5. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. |
