Battered, fried cod fillets Ingredients:
2 lbs cod fish fillet |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 teaspoon water |
2 eggs |
6 tablespoons flour |
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
Directions:
1. Mix seasonings with water. Add egg and beat to mix well. 2. Coat the fish pieces with flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. 3. Shallow fry for 3 to 4 minutes on each side in hot olive oil until golden brown. Do not overcook. 4. Drain well on absorbent paper and serve immediately. |
