I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from 501 Recipes For A Low Carb Life. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cornmeal |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon oregano leaves |
1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste) |
cayenne pepper |
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Combine the cornmeal, flour, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and cayenne in a shallow dish. 2. Press chicken into mixture to coat all over. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot and cook the chicken, turning once, until it is no longer pink inside, 10-15 minutes. |
