Ingredients:
9 cup(s) crispy corn or rice cereal squares |
9 ounce(s) cashews |
2 cup(s) sweetend flaked coconut |
1/2 cup(s) butter |
1/2 cup(s) corn syrup |
1 cup(s) brown sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
Directions:
1. Combine cereal, cashews and coconut in a large heat proof bowl. Melt butter in a large sauce pan, add corn syrup and brown sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over cereal, stir well to coat. Pour mixture out on to greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 250 for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in airtight container. |
