This is a family favorite we learned from my MIL at a family gathering last year. EVERYONE loves it-and it is super-easy to make. If you're on a budget, leave out the sunflower seeds and almonds, and substitute canola oil for the olive oil, and it's still great! Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package coleslaw mix |
3/4 cup sunflower seeds |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
3 green onions, chopped |
1 (73 g) package beef-flavor ramen noodles, crushed |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix first 5 ingredients. 2. Blend remaining ingredients, along with seasoning pack from noodles, well, till the sugar dissolves. 3. Mix dressing with salad. 4. Chill and serve. |
