CRUNCH CRUST BROWNIES This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Martinez Estate in Mansfield, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs |
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
1/4 cup butter melted |
19 ounce package fudge brownie mix |
1/4 cup hot water |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl then mix well and press into mixed square pan. 2. Combine brownie mix, hot water, oil and egg in a large mixing bowl and mix until blended. 3. Spoon over crumb mixture then bake at 350 for 25 minutes then cut into bars. |
