Got this out of a church cookbook. These are wonderful and very easy to make. I guessed at the number of crackers. I used 1 sleeve of saltines. Site doesn't recognize sleeve or column . Use however much will fit on the pan. Ingredients:
30 saltine crackers |
1 cup margarine |
1 cup brown sugar |
12 ounces chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Line a 15x10x2 pan with tinfoil. 3. Lay out the saltines on tinfoil. 4. Bring sugar and margarine to a boil and boil 3 minutes. 5. Pour evenly over saltines. 6. Bake 7 minutes. 7. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chips over top. Use back of spoon or spatula to spread melted chocolate evenly. 8. Chill until set and break into pieces. |
