Here is an old fashioned dessert. With all the butter, it is not for the diet-conscious!!! I try different fruit fillings - depending on the season. Enjoy! Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
1 cup sugar |
3 egg yolks |
3 sticks of margarine, melted |
2 cans apple pie filling |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix all but the pie filling and pat half in a 9 x 13 ungreased baking pan. 3. Bake for 20 minutes. 4. Pour 2 cans apple pie filling on crust. Put ers of batter on top - in dollops. 5. Bake an addtional 45 minutes to one hour. Until bubbly and brown. 6. It is delicous served warm with ice cream. |
