Crumb-Topped Broccoli Bake |

Ingredients:
2 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoon(s) butter |
1/4 cup(s) chopped onion |
1/2 cup(s) crushed butter-flavored crackers (about 12 crackers), divided |
3 eggs, lightly beaten |
2 10-oz. package(s) frozen broccoli cuts |
1/2 cup(s) milk |
1 8-oz jar(s) process cheese sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in cheese sauce until smooth. Remove from heat. 2. Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain and place in a bowl. Add the cheese sauce mixture, eggs, 1/4 cup cracker crumbs, salt and pepper. 3. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish; sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs. Place dish in a larger baking pan. Fill pan with hot water to a depth of 1 inch. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160 degrees. |
