Crumb Topped Banana Bread |

This is Banana bread like grandma used to make but with a slight change and a crumb topping added Ingredients:
1 tsp of vanilla |
1/2 c white sugar |
1/2 c brown sugar |
1/2 c butter |
2 large eggs |
1/2 cup sour cream |
4 ripe bananas |
1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 tsp of cinnamon |
2 cups of flour |
topping |
1/8 tsp cinnamon |
2 tbsp flour |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1 tbsp butter (room temp) |
optional (vanilla icing) to drizzle over top |
Directions:
1. Mix the first 7 ingredients in one bowl and set aside 2. mix the last 4 in another bowl 3. add the dry ingred to the wet and combine 4. place into a lightly greased loaf pan 5. mix together the topping - should look like small peas when done and place on top of the banana bread (dont mix in) 6. Bake in a preheated 350-degree (F) oven for 45-50 minutes. or until knife comes out clean 7. cool and drizzle icing over the top if desired |
