~Vegetable for a mass of people~ Ingredients:
4 fresh eggs |
3 cups cream style corn |
2-1/2 cups half and half |
1 16 oz can green beans,drained |
3 cups tomatoes,chopped |
1 cup onion,chopped |
3 sweet green pepper,chopped |
2 4oz cans pimientos |
2 cups olives,sliced |
1 cup mushrooms,sliced |
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce |
1-1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1-1/2 cup corn meal |
1 pound bacon,cooked crisp,crumbled |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients ,except the bacon. 2. Mix gently,but completely. 3. Pour into a 5 quart casserole dish. 4. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1-1/2 hours(or)until firm. 5. Remove from oven and cascade the cooked,crumbled, bacon over the top of the casserole. |
