Ingredients:
1 loaf french bread, cubed |
peanut oil, for frying |
dash dried parsley |
dash parmesan |
dash house seasoning, recipe follows |
Directions:
1. Allow bread cubes to sit overnight to become stale. 2. Heat a couple inches of oil to 350 degrees F in a large saucepan or straight-sided skillet. Add bread cubes and fry, stirring constantly, until browned. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season and serve with your favorite soup. 3. House Seasoning: 4. 1 cup salt 5. 1/4 cup black pepper 6. 1/4 cup garlic powder 7. Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months. |
