My mom used to make this growing up. Serve with a tossed salad or side of steamed veggies. Ingredients:
2 lbs hamburger |
1 large onion, chopped |
3 stalks celery, chopped |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup water |
7 ounces croutons |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup |
Directions:
1. Simmer onion and celery in butter and water until tender. 2. Spread raw hamburger on bottom of 9 X 13 baking dish. 3. Pour croutons into mixing bowl and pour in mixture from step one and stir. Spread this mixture over hamburger. 4. Mix soups together and spread over crouton mix. 5. Bake at 350 for about one hour. Enjoy! |
