This is a recipe I altered from my mom's to be used with the crockpot. Its an easy, delicious meal! Ingredients:
2 lbs beef eye round |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1/2 onion, chopped |
4 roma tomatoes, diced |
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon meat tenderizer |
salt & pepper |
1 (10 ounce) package egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Take the steak and sprinkle the tenderizer on it and beat with a meat tenderizer. 2. cut meat into 1in cubes. 3. mix meat, sauce, tomaties, green pepper, onion, italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper in crock pot. 4. set on low for 8-9hrs or high for 4-5hrs. 5. serve over egg noodles. |
