This is as simple and tasty as it gets, You can add nuts and dried fruit in the last hour of cooking or before serving Ingredients:
2 qts. (8 cups) vanilla soy milk |
1 cup uncooked rice |
1 cup sugar |
3 tbsp. cold margarine |
pinch of salt |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1/4 cup dried cranberries, cherries, raisins,,, (optional) |
1/4 cup chopped, pecans, almonds, walnuts.....(optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, stirring every hour, until the desired consistency is reached. |
