A great way to make rice pudding when you want to keep the kitchen cool. Photo courtesy of Ingredients:
1/2 gallon milk |
1 c. rice |
1 c. sugar |
3 tb butter |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1/2 c. dried apricots or peaches, minced |
1/4 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients into a crockpot, stir to blend. Cover and cook 2. 1 1/2 to 2 hours on high. Stir once after 1 hour. The longe it cooks the thicker it will be. |
