Crockpot Hamburger Stroganoff |

I have searched high and low for the quickest and easiest crockpot hamburger stroganoff and this is it. I use fresh mushrooms because I absolutely hate canned mushrooms, but you can use canned if you prefer. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
3 tablespoons tomato paste |
1/2 cup beef broth |
3 tablespoons sherry wine |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. 2. Drain fat. 3. Add to crock pot with remaining ingredients except for sour cream. 4. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours. 5. Stir in sour cream. 6. Heat through. 7. Serve over egg noodles. |
