Fills to the brim of a large crockpot Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef, lean |
2 anaheim peppers |
1 jalepeno pepper |
4 cloves garlic |
1 sweet onion |
81 oz red kidney beans, 3 27 oz cans |
15 oz can black beans |
15 1/2 oz el pato tomato sauce, mexican hot style, 2 7 3/4 oz cans |
30 oz tomato sauce, 2 15 oz cans |
6 tsp chili powder |
1 tbsp dried basil, crushed |
1 tsp black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut peppers in half and remove seeds. Brown peppers, ground beef, crushed garlic, and whole onion together. 2. While meat mixture is browning put all the other ingredients into the crockpot and stir. 3. Drain the meat mixture and add to crockpot. Keep onions, garlic, and peppers whole so they can be removed after cooking. 4. Cook in crockpot on low for 10 hours. 5. Tastes great when warmed up again later. 6.
