A nice hearty soup for those cold winter nights. Ingredients:
1 lb cooked ground beef |
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed |
4 -6 carrots, sliced into coins |
3 cups water |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 teaspoons italian seasoning |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can condensed tomato soup, undiluted |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
Directions:
1. In a crockpot, stir in ground beef. Add remaining ingredients to crockpot except tomato soup and paste. Stir, and cover. Cook on high 4-5 hours. Add in soup and tomato paste and cook on high an additional 1 hour. Serve with whole wheat rolls or French bread. |
