Crockette Cheesy Cauliflower |

Here's a delicious and easy way to fix cauliflower from the people at BH&G. I fix this for myself and then I can have it to accompany several dinners during the week. It's an especially tasty way to have a side-dish vegetable. It cooks in the small-size crockpot. Double recipe for the 3-1/2 to 4 quart crockpot. Ingredients:
4 cups cauliflower florets (1 small head) |
1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges |
1 cup bottled cheddar cheese pasta sauce |
fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Coat the inside of a 1-1/2 to 2-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. In prepared crockpot, combine cauliflower and onion. Pour pasta sauce over. 2. Cover and cook on LO heat for 5 to 5-1/2 hours or on HI heat for 2-1/2 to 3 hours. If there is no heat setting on your crockette, cook for 4 to 4-1/2 hours. 3. To serve: Stir gently before serving. Sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper. |
