Crock Pot Turkey Stroganoff |

An easy-to-prepare dish that's a great way to use up that leftover turkey. Served over egg noodles, it's a great alternative to regular leftovers. Ingredients:
2 lbs turkey, diced |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms |
1/4 cup cooking sherry |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1/2 stalk celery, finely diced |
1/2 small onion, finely diced |
salt and pepper |
1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles |
sour cream (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except egg noodles, in crock pot. 2. Stir in one soup can of water. 3. Mix ingredients together. 4. Cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours. 5. Prepare egg noodles per package directions. 6. Serve stroganoff over noodles. 7. Add dollop of sour cream if preferred. |
