Just as good as sloppy joes and lower in fat! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 small green pepper, chopped |
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/3 cup ketchup |
4 teaspoons tomato paste |
1 teaspoon cider vinegar |
2 teaspoons molasses |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Brown turkey with onion, green pepper, celery and garlic; drain. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in crock pot; mix well. 3. Add turkey mixture and 1 cup water; stir to combine. 4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours. |
