I'm so excited! I just found this recipe and made some changes more to my liking. I would make it tomorrow, but DH will be away on business. I love tuna casserole, but never thought of making one in a crock pot. Prep time does not include hard boiling the eggs. Ingredients:
2 (12 ounce) cans canned tuna, drained and flaked |
3 cups diced celery |
3 cups crushed potato chips, divided |
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except 1 1/2 cup potato chips, in slow cooker and stir well. 2. Top mixture with remaining 1 1/2 cup potato chips. 3. Cover and cook on Low 5 to 8 hours. |
