I'm so excited! I just found this recipe and made some changes more to my liking. I would make it tomorrow, but DH will be away on business. I love tuna casserole, but never thought of making one in a crock pot. Prep time does not include hard boiling the eggs.
Ingredients:
2 (12 ounce) cans canned tuna, drained and flaked
3 cups diced celery
3 cups crushed potato chips, divided
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except 1 1/2 cup potato chips, in slow cooker and stir well.
2. Top mixture with remaining 1 1/2 cup potato chips.
3. Cover and cook on Low 5 to 8 hours.
