This recipe was given to me by a friend, and I was hesitant because it calls for tomato soup, which I am not a big fan of. But I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this was- it tastes nothing like tomato soup, just has a really great flavor. We served it over rice and it was fantastic! Even my picky kids and husband raved about it, and it will be a regular in our household now! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs stew meat |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix |
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans tomato soup, undiluted |
2 large green peppers, cored and diced |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in crock pot and cook on low 8-10 hours. Serve over 5 minute white rice. So yummy! |
