Great winter supper-low-cal too. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon mustard powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 lbs boneless round steak, cut into 6 pieces |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 large onion, sliced |
1 green pepper, sliced |
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
2 garlic cloves, chopped |
1 cup mushroom, sliced |
Directions:
1. Mix flour, mustard, and salt. 2. Coat beef with flour mix. 3. Brown in hot oil over medium heat. 4. Place beef in crock pot. 5. Top with onions and peppers. 6. Add garlic and tomatoes (undrained). 7. Cover and cook on low 6 hours. 8. Add mushrooms and cook for another 2 or 3 hours. |
