CROCK POT STEWED RHUBARB This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dodd Estate in Richardson, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
4 cups rhubarb cut into 2 pieces |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
2 tablespoons unsalted butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Place rhubarb, sugar and water into crock pot. 2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. 3. Remove the cover then turn off heat and stir in butter and vanilla. 4. Chill before serving. |
