I ran across this on the internet and it looked intriguing to me. I haven't tried it yet so I can't vouch for how it will turn out. Ingredients:
1 cup steel cut oats |
1 apple, coarsely chopped |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
4 1/2 cups skim milk |
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients and set to low heat. 2. Cover and cook for 8-9 hours. |
