This quick and easy recipe results in a scrumptious one pot meal. Add whatever toppings traditionally served with fajitas - sour cream, shredded cheese etc. You can save time by using frozen peppers and onions. Ingredients:
3/4 cup chunky salsa |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 fresh minced garlic clove |
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime) |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 lbs flank steaks (sliced in strips) |
1 onion, chopped or sliced |
3 sweet red pepper strips |
fajita-size flour tortilla |
Directions:
1. Combine first eight ingredients in the crockpot. Place chopped onion and red peppers on top. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Enjoy! |
