Crock Pot Rattlesnake Stew |

This is a favorite dish of mine and is very easy to make. Ingredients:
1 onion chopped |
1 cup of chopped celery |
4 medium potatoes diced |
1 tablespoon of minced garlic |
1 cup of chopped carrots |
1 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 14 ounce can of beef broth |
2 tablespoons of cornstarch |
pinch of sugar |
1/4 cup of lemon juice |
2 pounds of rattlesnake meat |
Directions:
1. Cook the rattlesnake meat in water and lemon juice for 1 hour. 2. Remove and separate the meat from the bones. 3. Mix the meat with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl well then add to the crockpot. 4. Cook on low for 8 hours 5. Serve |
