Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches |

A simple yummy way to make French Dip sandwiches. Uses everyday ingredients and makes the meat and the broth for dipping all in one pot. Ingredients:
1 (3 -4 lb) lean beef roast |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1 beef bouillon cube |
1 bay leaf |
4 peppercorns |
1 teaspoon rosemary |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Remove and discard all visible fat from the roast. Place in the crock pot. Combine the soy sauce, bullion and spices; pour over the roast. Cook on low for 10-12 hours. Remove meat from the broth;save broth. Shred the meat with forks. Serve on your choice of rolls with a bowl of broth for dipping. 2. We use hoagie rolls but hard rolls are good too. |
