Crock Pot Country Pork Sandwiches |

I made this up one day when pork roasts were on sale and it was to hot out to eat a heavy roast dinner. Ingredients:
3 -4 lbs lean pork roast, cubed |
2 stalks celery, finely diced |
1 large onion, diced |
3 tablespoons oil |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon lawrys salt |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
1/2 teaspoon rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon parsley |
1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
1/2 cup dry sherry |
Directions:
1. Saute celery and onion in oil in a large skillet. 2. Add meat, brown well. 3. Place in crock pot. 4. Add remaining ingredients. 5. Stir well. 6. Cook 8-10 hours on low until meat shreds. 7. Serve on hard rolls. |
