I made this up from ingredients I had on hand. Very tasty and easy. I use turkey ham for this to reduce the fat. Serve over rice or egg noodles and garnish with swiss or mozzarella cheese. Ingredients:
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast |
1/2 lb ham, cubed |
10 ounces reduced-sodium cream of chicken soup |
1 tablespoon italian seasoning |
1/2 cup water |
cooked rice (optional) |
cooked pasta (optional) |
swiss cheese (optional) |
mozzarella cheese (optional) |
Directions:
1. Place chicken breasts in bottom of crock pot. I put them in whole and break up with a spoon when done. You can cube the breasts if you like. Your choice. 2. Put cubed ham over chicken. Mix soup, water and seasonings together and pour over chicken and ham. 3. Turn crock pot to low and cook for about 8 hours. 4. Serve over rice or pasta and your choice of cheese. |
