This is such a great way to use up chicken legs and wings. We get our chicken's whole from a farm, so whenever I need breast meat, off come the legs and wings too! I use this recipe when I need to just throw something quick in a pot and run! My husband and his buddy came home from the gym last night and devoured the whole pot! I guess it was good. I didn't get any! :( Ingredients:
10 chicken pieces (legs or wings) |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce or 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 pinch ginger |
Directions:
1. Wash chicken and take skin off or leave on chicken pieces (your preference) and place in crock pot. 2. Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. 3. Cook on low for 8 hours. |
