This recipe came from a friends sister. Great for cook-outs, pot lucks.... Very forgiving recipe can easily adjust amounts to suit your tastes. I usually assemble ahead of time and refrigerate overnight before putting in the crock-pot. I have also made ahead of time and put in the freezer for DH to take as part of a hunting camp meal. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon molasses |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 (31 ounce) can baked beans |
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans, drained |
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained |
6 ounces bacon (1/2 package) |
diced onion |
1/2 lb hamburger |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger. Rinse. 2. Cook and cut up bacon. 3. Put ingredients in crock-pot. 4. Mix together. 5. Cook on low 4 hours. |
