Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff |

This recipe was given to me by a friend. My kids love it! I think it is best cooked longer on low heat as the meat is more tender. I also substitute low fat sour cream. Ingredients:
1 lb stewing beef |
1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 dash salt & pepper |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 tablespoon minced onion |
flour |
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream |
wide egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Cut stew beef into 1 pieces and put in crock pot. 2. Dredge beef with flour. 3. add garlic and spices. 4. add crushed tomatoes. 5. cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours. 6. Thirty minutes before eating add sour cream. 7. serve over warm noodles. |
