Very easy to put together. I have a 6qt All-clad crock pot with the insert that I'm able to use on the stove top as well, which comes in sooo handy. Otherwise, just brown your beef in a large skillet, drain, and transfer to your crockpot. This makes a good size batch so if your crock pot is much smaller, just try cutting the recipe in half. If you work during the day, this can be thrown together the evening before, stuck in the fridge, then started before you leave for work. Can't get any easier than that! Ingredients:
3 lbs ground beef |
2 -3 tablespoons chili powder, to taste |
2 teaspoons cumin |
2 teaspoons onion powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano, to taste |
1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste |
1/2 teaspoon pepper, to taste |
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (10 ounce) can rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies |
2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans kidney beans, with liquid |
2 (15 ounce) cans white beans, with liquid |
Directions:
1. Brown and drain ground beef. 2. Transfer to crock pot and add all remaining ingredients. 3. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. |
